BioTechBuilder Training - Part 5: Synthetic Biology Workshop is offered through a social, online platform and is intended for teachers who want to learn more about each stage of the engineering "Design-Build-Teat-Learn" (DBTL) cycle.

Teachers can participate from anywhere, pacing the lectures, readings, and assignments to fit their learning needs. Even online, teachers can still expect to interact with other teachers, receive feedback from BioTechBuilder instructors, and gain hands-on experience with BioTechBuilder's lab activities. Using existing BioBuilder kits and through the application of BioBuilder's abstraction hierarchy to design a novel biotechnology of your own. Lab skills focus on microbial culturing, transformation of both bacteria and yeast, and measurement of cellular outputs.
