Summary

BioTechBuilder Training - Part 1: Lab Skills Workshop is offered through a social, online platform and is intended for teachers who want to take a deep dive in lab activities related to making solutions and culturing cells.

Teachers can participate from anywhere, pacing the lectures, readings, and assignments to fit their learning needs. Even online, teachers can still expect to interact with other teachers, receive feedback from BioTechBuilder instructors, and gain hands-on experience with BioTechBuilder's lab activities including calculating molarity, preparation of a single solute stock solution, serial dilutions and dilution rations, preparing a standard curve, culturing bacteria, measuring cell concentration as well as execution of a viability assay.

Laboratory kits can only be shipped to schools in the United States. If your school is outside the United States please contact Chloe Franklin at chloe@biobuilder.org.

Multiple teachers applying from the same school should use coupon code "PD-MULTI" when prompted to receive the discounted rate.

Please reach out to info@biobuilder.org with any questions.
